Richard A. Sun is highly creative and experienced business man both in conceptualization (analysis, strategy and planning) and in implementation (deal/project management, fund raising, negotiation and documentation). The founder and owner of Sun & Co., Mr. Sun brings more than 30 years of banking and investment experience to his clients - offering capabilities in startups, venture capital, private equity investment and fund management, among many other business services. He is experienced in a wide range of industries in the U.S., and internationally and has had a key role in the creation of nine new companies. Mr. Sun is a current investor in nine startup companies and has originated, structured, placed and closed over 70 deals valued at over $4 billion and he has originated and led over 30 advisory assignments valued at over $7 billion. Mr. Sun received his Bachelor’s from Princeton and his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is a director of the Anacostia Economic Development Corp. and a pilot for Angel Flight and Homeland Emergency Air Transportation System.
